GRAINS OF WISDOM (cont’d)
46. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom … (hence, he who does not fear Him, remains a fool – Pr. 9:10a)
47. Whoever loves admonition and instruction loves knowledge; but he who hates admonition is brutish (Pr. 12:1).
48. He who walks with wise men will be wise, but who is the companion of fools will be destroyed (Pr. 13:20).
49. Despiser hates him who warns, admonishes; neither will he ever go to the wise (Pr. 15:12).
50. He who despises the instructions and advices despises his own soul (Pr. 15:32).
51. There is a way that seems right to man, but the end thereof are the ways of death (Pr. 16:25).
52. A reproof enters more into a wise man than a hundred rods on the back of a fool (Pr. 17:10).
53. Whoever repays evil for good, evil will not depart from his house (Pr. 17:13).
54. It is joy to the just to do judgment; but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity (Pr. 21:15).
55. The man who wanders out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead (Pr. 21:16).
56. Buy the truth and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding (Pr. 23:23).
57. Wisdom is too high for a fool; he does not open his mouth in the gate (Pr. 24: 7).
58. The thought of foolishness is sin, and the scorner is an abomination to men (Pr. 24: 9).
59. Evil men understand not judgment; but they that seek the LORD understand all things (Pr. 28: 5).
60. He who trusts in his own heart is a fool; but he who walks wisely will be delivered (Pr. 28:26).
61. A man has never yet been born, who would not choose to have heaven on earth; nor has a man been born yet, who would chose the cross, as the only possible instrument for such a change.
62. In believers we can find 4 kinds of hearts, 3 kinds are barren and even in that 1 fertile kind only some bring a 100-fold harvest, others only 60-fold or only 30-fold (Mt 13: 3-9,18-23).
63. Many believers may ask the Lord for His Light, and even if the Lord gives it to them, they do not know what to do with it.
64. Pastor can know all his sheep, but he almost never knows himself.
65. No man knows why his mind thinks the way it thinks; nor why his heart feels the way it feels. In spite of this, man may base his whole life and future on these two uncertainties.
66. When you tell a believer the truth that he does not believe, and he is not able or willing to pause and consider the truth, his whole destiny hangs in the balance.
67. A man who is unable to believe God is normal; a man who is unwilling to believe God is a pagan.
68. Every believer wants to go to the Kingdom of God even though he does not know what he will be doing there.
69. He who sows unwillingness, will reap the inability (Lk. 13:24).
70. One who thinks he has a true love, has not yet started practicing his love.
71. There were three crosses on Golgotha, and no man knows why.
72. When man has his head in a box, the Lord wants to drill at least a few holes into it, so that he may see what he does not see.
73. The deceived man can be cheerful even when he is walking into eternal damnation.
74. The fool will never understand the wise, nor wise the fool, because between them there is a deep abyss.
75. Preachers preach their faith with conviction even though it may be essentially contrary to the Word of God.
76. The believer who accepts without verifying everything that others say is in a great danger.
77. No believer can understand the ways of God, though God patiently leads him on them.
78. When man uses his good, evil is always present (Rom. 7:21). When God uses evil, His good is always present.
79. The man, who is offended by stupidity or untruth and then becomes silent and is not willing to even see, if it really was stupidity or untruth, leads a miserable life and digs his early grave.
80. Our human goodness can bring us to the grave, if it is misused by others for long.
81. The earthly wars never bring solutions; one war in Heaven will bring a solution for eternity (Rev. 12:7).
82. Every believer must die to himself in order to begin to live for Christ and for Heavenly Father.
83. The believer who does not love his brother does not pass from death to life, but remains in the death and does not know God, because God is love (1Jn. 3:14b and 4:8).
84. Whoever hates his brother (does not even want to see him), lives and walks in darkness and does not know where he is going, because darkness has blinded his eyes (1Jn. 2:11).
85. He who believes he is a good man and his way to Heaven is open is more deceived than pagans
86. The believer who refuses to walk the way of Salvation ordained by God will never be saved.
87. Even the most deceived man after his death will see the whole truth, which during his life he did not want to see.
88. It is impossible to imagine our self in Hell, and our enemy in Paradise.
89. If you do not believe that God can enable you to walk on water, then how are you going to believe that God will enable you to rise up in the air?
90. Every born-again believer has desire to see himself and his glory in the Kingdom of God, if only someone would bring him there on a stretcher.
